What is MadCatHouse?
The shortest answer; It’s a metaphor for what goes on between my ears.
The long answer involves a house, some really great energy and yes, a bunch of cats.
The house, is both my place of residence and Corporate Headquarters of the empire I am affectively (if not effectively) building.
There is something about this place I call home, I felt it even before the walls went up. I used to sit in the frame of what was to be the window in the master bath and soak up the good vibes.
To this day, you can occasionally find me perched on the roof just outside that window, trying to catch a sunset while appreciating the breeze and how good this place feels.
I’m not the only one that feels it. It’s not uncommon to have guests say genuinely; “This is a nice house”. I know they’re not referring to the fancy decor and furnishings because there is none of that.
Regarding The Cats
Really long story short; there were a lot of cats and some of them made their way in. For a little while, there was madness.
I’m going to make a leap here. You know how dogs can hear things we can’t? I choose to believe that all those cats that made their way to my house, were attracted to the place. I had nothing to do with it.

About The Name
The name originally came to me as the perfect brand for the home movies I was producing at the time – A MadCatHouse Production
Over the years, one creative project lead to another. The felines all gone now, leaving behind remnant cat hair, the occasional, rare, lucky whisker and that MadCatHouse energy.
MadCatHouse could loosely be defined as a Production Studio.
Production; referring to the many steps involved in taking an idea from concept to completion.
Studio; alluding to the space designated to the creative process (as if it could be contained in a room).
MadCatHouse is a creative concept that houses and begets creative concepts.
I realize that is a bit vague for most people but what else can I tell you? That is what it is.
